In your role as an intern at Stockarea, your key responsibilities will include: - Identifying new business opportunities within the warehousing sector, including potential clients and markets. - Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to expand the customer base and increase revenue. - Establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in target industries. - Engaging in regular prospecting and lead-generation activities to build a solid pipeline. - Understanding customer needs and aligning warehousing solutions to meet those needs effectively. - Generating and qualifying new leads, building relationships, and closing deals for warehousing services. - Negotiating contracts, pricing, and service agreements to close sales and secure long-term partnerships. - Working closely with internal teams (operations, finance, etc.) to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery post-sale. - Providing accurate sales forecasts and reports to management. - Conducting market research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies. - Analyzing client needs, challenges, and opportunities to position warehousing services competitively. - Monitoring industry changes and proactively suggesting improvements or new services to clients. - Building and maintaining long-term, trust-based relationships with clients. - Ensuring customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing concerns promptly. - Acting as the main point of contact for existing customers, ensuring their warehousing requirements are met efficiently. - Working closely with the marketing team to support promotional activities and campaigns. - Collaborating with the operations team to ensure smooth transitions and service implementation for new clients. - Maintaining up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and business development progress in CRM systems. - Reporting on key performance metrics, sales goals, and progress to the senior management team.
