Job Description

Role & responsibilities

About the Role:

Sales Trainer

Gender:

Preferred candidate profile

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deliver
sales and product training programs
for field sales teams, distributors, and retailers.
Conduct
onboarding programs
, refresher courses, and performance-based training sessions.
Evaluate sales team competencies and implement continuous
skill enhancement initiatives
.
Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to align training content with business goals and new product launches.
Monitor the effectiveness of training through assessments and performance metrics.
Support in
distribution handling and retail development programs
to strengthen market reach.
Travel across South Indian states (Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh) for training sessions and field coaching.

Desired Candidate Profile:

815 years of proven experience in
sales training
, preferably in
FMCG, Paints, Building Materials, or allied industries
.
Strong understanding of
channel management, distribution models, and retail operations
.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in English and at least one South Indian language (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, or Malayalam preferred).
Willingness to travel extensively as part of the job.

Education:

MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
Certifications in Sales/Soft Skills/Behavioral Training will be an added advantage.

Compensation:

CTC up to 15 Lakhs per annum (commensurate with experience and skill set)
