Sales Trader

As a candidate for the position, your role would involve the following: Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing institutional client relationships, providing trading advice, ensuring compliance with risk management protocols, driving business development, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance client service. Key Responsibilities: - Build and manage institutional client relationships with Domestic MFs, HFs, AMCs, pension funds, PSU/private banks, asst managers, and other large investors. - Act as the key contact for delivering personalized advice, firm research, investment ideas, and market strategies. - Provide timely market insights, trading ideas, and trend updates. - Monitor and manage client trading activity for accurate and timely execution of orders. - Advise clients on market liquidity, trade strategies, and optimal pricing. - Identify and execute profitable trading opportunities for clients. - Ensure all trading activities comply with internal risk management protocols and regulatory requirements. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market regulations, compliance standards, and best practices. - Identify and develop new institutional client relationships. - Drive new sales opportunities within the institutional segment to expand the firm's market presence. - Source and execute block trades to meet client needs and enhance liquidity solutions. - Partner with the sales team to grow the institutional client base and revenue streams. - Work closely with internal trading desks, research teams, and other departments to deliver best-in-class client service. - Provide actionable feedback on client needs, product offerings, and market conditions to internal stakeholders. - Contribute to the development and enhancement of in-house trading algorithms to improve execution efficiency and strategy performance. Qualifications Required: - Masters degree in finance, Economics, Business, or related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in institutional sales trading, preferably at a broking firm or investment bank.,
