Job Description

In this role at ABB, you will develop and maintain a highly effective Digital sales strategy to enhance market penetration and achieve growth targets for the Process Industries industrial software portfolio in North Africa. Your responsibilities will include: - Selling digital solutions across key solution areas, focusing on meeting volume, margin, and profitability targets - Providing sales leadership and strategic direction to internal teams for accelerating digital order growth - Designing and executing strategic sales plans to expand ABB's digital presence in core process industry segments - Building trust-based relationships with customers by aligning ABB's solutions with their business needs - Ensuring end-to-end customer satisfaction throughout the sales lifecycle - Leading business reviews and Sales & Operations Planning to ensure alignment on critical deals - Collaborating across functions to drive integrated solution sales in a matrix environment - Monitoring customer financials and managing risks related to contracts and cybersecurity - Engaging with ecosystem partners to co-create value-driven solutions - Supporting the adoption of new digital business models and identifying monetization opportunities You will work closely with Sales and account managers to promote digital solutions within the Process Automation Process Industries (PAPI) division in North Africa. Your qualifications should include: - Expertise in digitalization, industrial software, and consultative selling in the operational technology (OT) space - Minimum of 7 years of experience in the OT/software industry with a focus on digital transformation - Proven experience in digital solution areas such as Operational Excellence, Process Performance, Asset Performance Management, Sustainability, Connected Workforce, and Cybersecurity - Strong customer engagement skills and a track record of delivering results in matrixed organizations - Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering (Masters or MBA is a plus) - Fluent in English (French is advantageous) - Willingness to travel as required - Experience in managing cross-functional teams and delivering results under pressure - Sector-specific knowledge in industries like Mining, Metals, Pulp & Paper, and Food & Beverage At ABB, you will be part of a dynamic and high-performing team, where you can thrive and make a significant impact.
