Job Description

As a Digital Sales Strategist at ABB, your role is crucial in developing and maintaining an effective sales strategy to enhance ABB's market presence and achieve growth targets for the industrial software portfolio in Process Industries. You will be responsible for planning and executing the digital sales strategy in North Africa to meet qualitative and quantitative targets, including orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. Your focus will be on growing the sales pipeline, driving opportunities to closure, and monitoring and correcting sales performance as needed. Additionally, you will lead and support the sales organization within your scope. Key Responsibilities: - Sell digital solutions across key areas to meet volume, margin, and profitability targets - Provide sales leadership to internal teams to accelerate digital order growth - Design and execute strategic sales plans to expand ABB's digital presence in core industry segments - Build strong relationships with customers by aligning solutions with their business needs - Ensure end-to-end customer satisfaction throughout the sales lifecycle - Lead business reviews and Sales & Operations Planning to ensure alignment on critical deals - Collaborate across functions to drive integrated solution sales in a matrix environment - Monitor customer financials and manage risks related to contracts and cybersecurity - Engage with ecosystem partners and industry experts to develop value-driven solutions - Support the adoption of new digital business models and identify monetization opportunities Qualifications: - Expertise in digitalization, industrial software, and consultative selling in the OT space - Minimum 7 years of experience in the OT/software industry with a focus on digital transformation - Proven experience in digital solution areas such as Operational Excellence, Asset Performance Management, and Cybersecurity - Strong customer engagement skills and experience in delivering results in matrixed organizations - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering; MBA is a plus - Fluent in English, French proficiency is advantageous - Willingness to travel across assigned markets - Experienced in managing cross-functional teams and delivering results under pressure - Sector-specific knowledge in industries like Mining, Metals, and Food & Beverage - Recognized in the industry for strategic, results-driven execution Joining ABB's dynamic team will provide you with the opportunity to thrive and make a tangible impact on industries and the world.
