Job Description

Sales Executive / Business Development Executive (FMCG)

Brief Requirement

We are a fast-growing FMCG organization dealing in hair care and skin care products. As part of our expansion plan, we are looking to hire Business Development Executives (Frontline Sales) across Kerala. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in FMCG product sales, preferably in personal care/beauty categories, and should be target-driven, hardworking, and well-versed with local market dynamics.

Designation: Business Development Executive (Frontline Sales)

Location: Openings across all districts of Kerala – Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod

Salary Range: ₹17,500 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience & performance)

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in FMCG product sales (personal care/beauty segment preferred)

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as per company goals.
  • Handle distributors, wholesalers, and retail outlets within assigned territory.
  • Ensure daily beat/route coverage with required outlet visits.
  • Book orders and coordinate with distributors for supply and invoicing.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments in line with company credit policy.
  • Drive merchandising and product visibility at retail counters.
  • Gather market intelligence on competitor pricing, promotions, and schemes.
  • Submit accurate daily/weekly/monthly sales and coverage reports via SFA/ERP tools or Excel.
  • Build long-term relationships with retailers, distributors, and key stakeholders.

Skills & Competencies Required

  • Minimum 2 years of FMCG sales experience (personal care/beauty/healthcare preferred).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in Malayalam and basic English.
  • Familiarity with general trade (GT); modern trade (MT) exposure is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in using SFA/ERP apps or Excel for reporting.
  • Target-oriented, disciplined, and self-motivated with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the district/region.

Qualifications

  • Graduate (any discipline).
  • Strong local market knowledge of the district applied for will be preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Fixed Salary: ₹17,500 – ₹25,000 per month.
