Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Officer to drive business development for our weighing scales and weighbridge product range . This is a field-based role focused on lead generation, client acquisition, relationship management, and end-to-end sales execution. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial product sales, strong communication skills, and a passion for customer engagement. Candidates with experience in weighing scales and weighbridge products are preferred. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target industries (manufacturing, logistics, agriculture, etc.). Conduct field visits, cold calls, and networking to generate leads. Maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients. Sales Execution: Present, promote, and sell weighing scales and weighbridge products to prospective customers. Conduct product demonstrations and site visits where necessary. Prepare and deliver quotations, negotiate contracts, and close deals. Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the sales cycle. Build long-term relationships to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business. Provide post-sales support and coordinate with service teams as needed. Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams for continuous improvement. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client interactions, and order processing. Submit daily/weekly field reports and updates to the Manager. Key Requirements: Education: 12th pass , Graduate/Diploma on any field. Experience: 2 experience in field sales, preferably in industrial products (weighing scales, weighbridges, instrumentation, or similar). Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to generate leads and close sales. Good knowledge of local market and geography. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting. Other Requirements: Must be willing to travel extensively within assigned territory. Two-wheeler/four-wheeler with a valid driving license is preferable.
