Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for retailer and distributor management, ensuring maximum product visibility, inventory maintenance, and sales growth. This role requires frequent market visits, strong relationship management, and an ability to drive business objectives effectively.

Key Responsibilities:Retailer Management:

  • Cover 25-30 retail shops daily as per the Permanent Journey Plan (PJP) and beat plan.
  • Maintain the correct quantity of all Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) in retail stores.
  • Ensure proper product visibility and merchandising in stores.
  • Implement FIFO (First In First Out) / FEFO (First Expiry First Out) practices.
  • Launch and place new products as per company guidelines.
  • Maintain strong relationships with wholesalers and retailers.
  • Engage potential customers, educate them about products, and collect feedback.
  • Address retailer queries related to schemes, returns, and expiries.

Distributor Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors.
  • Manage distributor inventory, product shelf life, and replenishment cycles.
  • Help distributors achieve a healthy Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Ensure distributors provide necessary market credit and services.
  • Track competitor activities and report market developments.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, customer appointments, and complaints.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to align strategies with company goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in FMCG, retail, or sales domain.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel extensively for market visits.
  • Knowledge of distributor and retailer management is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
