Sales & Marketing Manager - Export

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a seasoned Sales & Marketing professional with deep domain expertise in the tropical fruit pulp and concentrate industry, particularly in mango (Totapuri, Alphonso, Kesar), guava, papaya, IQF and related processed fruit products. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of driving B2B sales internationally, managing key accounts in beverage, dairy, confectionery, and FMCG sectors, and forging long-term partnerships with food processors and bulk buyers.

Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across domestic and international markets.

Client Relationship Management: Build, manage, and expand relationships with buyers, distributors, and food processing companies globally.

Export Market Development: Identify new geographies and distribution channels; manage international compliance, documentation, and export regulations.

Product Positioning & Marketing: Develop compelling product pitches for mango pulp (Totapuri, Alphonso), guava pulp, papaya pulp, and custom blends.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely order execution and client satisfaction.

Market Intelligence: Monitor global demand, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to adapt the go-to-market approach.

Trade Shows & Networking: Represent the company at international food expos, trade fairs, and B2B events.

Preferred candidate profile

Education: MBA in Marketing/International Business or equivalent (preferred, not mandatory with strong experience)

Experience:

Minimum 5-8 years in Sales/Marketing of tropical fruit pulps and concentrates

Deep exposure to mango pulp (Totapuri, Alphonso), guava pulp, papaya pulp

Prior experience in export markets (Middle East, Europe, Asia Pacific, or North America)

Strong communication and negotiation skills

In-depth knowledge of fruit processing supply chains and seasonal variations

Understanding of food safety certifications (BRC, FSSC 22000, HACCP)
