Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive
Sales & Marketing Executive
who can drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and supporting brand marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys both sales and creative outreach activities. You will be expected to develop sector-specific pipelines (e.g., D2C apparel, e-commerce sellers, hospitality procurement teams), run targeted outreach campaigns, and convert opportunities such as negotiated contracts for custom packaging runs, recurring consumables contracts for hotels, or one-off procurement projects for agritech businesses. Success in this role involves understanding packaging specifications (e.g., corrugate strength, material type), cost drivers, and buyer cycles across industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach new clients across industries such as E-commerce, D2C brands, hotels, and manufacturing units. Focus on segment-specific needs: e.g., protective mailers and polybags for marketplaces; branded retail packaging for D2C; bulk linens and consumables for hospitality.
- Understand client requirements and work with the procurement team to share quotations and samples. Prepare detailed product spec sheets, sample approval timelines, and cost breakdowns tailored to industry needs (minimum order quantities, lead times, customization costs).
- Follow up with leads, close deals, and maintain strong post-sale relationships. Manage account onboarding, negotiate terms for repeat orders, and identify opportunities for upselling (e.g., switching to sustainable packaging alternatives or bundled consumables).
- Support in planning and executing marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and social media activities. Develop case studies and industry-specific collateral (e.g., sample packs for e-commerce sellers, ROI case for hotels showing cost savings on bulk procurement) and represent EnviPack at trade shows relevant to packaging and hospitality procurement.
- Prepare sales reports, maintain databases, and track ongoing opportunities. Use CRM tools to segment leads by industry, track conversion metrics, and produce weekly pipeline updates highlighting high-value prospects like large D2C rollouts or hospitality chain tenders.
- Work closely with the operations and design team to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Coordinate quality checks for packaging materials (e.g., burst/ECT ratings for corrugate), confirm sample pass/fail criteria, and manage timelines for custom print runs.
- Represent EnviPack at client meetings, trade shows, and networking events. Drive industry partnerships (print houses, material suppliers) and pilot projects that demonstrate our procurement value for sectors such as agritech (produce-safe packaging) and logistics (durable transit packaging).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 03 years of experience in Sales or Marketing (B2B preferred). Experience working with D2C, e-commerce sellers, hospitality procurement teams, or manufacturing buyers is advantageous.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Comfortable presenting product specifications and cost-benefit analyses to technical and procurement stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask and manage both client and marketing initiatives. Experience using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho), and confidently managing Excel/Google Sheets for pricing and margin calculations.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to travel if required. Experience attending industry trade shows or supplier visits is a plus.
- Prior experience or familiarity with packaging materials and procurement cycles is a plus (e.g., corrugated board specifications, flexible films, kraft paper, compostable materials). Demonstrable understanding of MOQ implications, lead times, and quality parameters will help you hit the ground running.

- Work directly with the founding team and industry mentors.
- High-growth environment with real responsibility and learning opportunities, including exposure to procurement and supply-chain operations across multiple industries.
- Supportive and collaborative startup culture.
