Job Description

The position is accountable for proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities, ensuring that business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for effective service delivery. You will assist in leading all day-to-day activities related to sales, with a primary focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve sales objectives and personal sales goals. For this role, you should ideally possess a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, along with 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area. Alternatively, a 4-year bachelor's degree in the mentioned majors with 1 year of relevant experience is also acceptable. Your core work activities will involve building successful relationships that generate sales opportunities by collaborating with off-property sales channels, strengthening relationships with both existing and new customers through various activities, and developing connections within the community to expand the customer base. You will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders while providing accurate turnover to Event Management. In addition, you will participate in sales calls with the sales team to acquire new business, execute operational aspects of booked business, and identify new opportunities to achieve revenue goals. Understanding market trends, target customer information, and competitors" strengths and weaknesses will be crucial to maximize revenue and close the best opportunities based on market conditions and location needs. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service will drive customer loyalty by delivering service excellence in every customer interaction. You will be expected to support the company's service and relationship strategy, grow the share of the account through customer service standards, and set a positive example for guest relations by obtaining feedback on product quality and service levels.
