Job Description

As a Service Sales Engineer at Hitachi Energy, you will play a crucial role in driving the service sales process in collaboration with the Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated area(s), focusing on installed base penetration and selling the entire Service product portfolio for Grid & Power Quality Solutions (Substations and FACTS). - Work closely with the Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager to implement the Service sales strategy - Promote various upgrade, retrofit, and value-added solutions - Prepare sales plans, review them, and propose recovery plans when necessary - Identify and develop sales opportunities for Service products and solutions using tools like ServIS - Establish long-term customer relationships and demonstrate in-depth technical service product/solutions knowledge - Expand Hitachi Energy's footprint in the designated area(s) by selling the entire service product portfolio Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in electrical/electrical & Electronics Engineering - 6 to 8 years of professional experience in a similar position - Knowledge of the Grid and Power Quality Industry (Substations, FACTS) - Familiarity with the latest automation technologies - Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills - Proficiency in tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, and Teams - Fluency in both spoken and written English Hitachi Energy values safety and integrity, and expects all employees to take responsibility for their actions while caring for colleagues and the business.,
