Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for growing Kryptons customer base and revenue. This includes developing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and working with other departments. The role also involves supporting the sales team and helping expand Kryptons market presence.

Essential Functions

  • Assist in developing and implementing the companys sales strategy.
  • Assist in developing and implementing a marketing plan which can include marketing collateral, company brochures, company website, and trade show activities.
  • Identify new business opportunities to grow Kryptons PCBA, Engineering, and turnkey business.
  • Implement and utilize tools to document leads, customer contacts, communications, and opportunities.
  • Provide routine summary of activities (key customers, RFQs, wins, etc.).
  • Research new potential growth markets for Krypton to expand into.
  • Obtain the needed information (NDA, credit apps, tax certs, etc.) for new customers
  • Customer Communication: Log all customer interactions, including calls, emails, meetings, and follow-ups, to maintain a comprehensive record of communications.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers and partners to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and update the CMO regularly on sales pipeline, performance, and market trends.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with the marketing, engineering, and product development teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with product offerings and customer needs.
  • Contract Negotiation & Closing Sales: Lead negotiations for new contracts, ensuring favorable terms for the company while building strong relationships with customers.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitors activities and products, identifying trends and adjusting sales strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Sales Presentations & Demonstrations: Deliver impactful presentations to prospective clients, including product demos, to showcase Kryptons capabilities and value proposition.
  • Customer Feedback & Market Insights: Gather feedback from customers to identify potential product improvements, new market needs, or service enhancements.

Required & Preferred Education/Experience/Skills

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the electronics industry, particularly PCBA, engineering, and turnkey solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization.
  • Problem Solving Ability: Ability to quickly identify problems and propose effective solutions that drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
  • Education: Any bachelors degree with 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing, a related electronics industry field.
  • Advanced Degree: B.E EEE, B.E ECE, M.E + MBA in Marketing is preferred.

Travel

Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events as required.
