Role & responsibilities

A Sales Manager in the lift/elevator industry is responsible for leading sales operations, managing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets by promoting elevators, escalators, and related services. The role involves team leadership, business development, coordination with technical teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction from inquiry to project completion

Preferred candidate profile

. Key Responsibilities

  • Daily work assigns & takes reporting in evening.
  • Motivating team to complete their weekly task(enquiry, meets, ARC Visits)
  • Set target to meet existing, New ARC & Builder with sales team.
  • To sit with sales team to close sales & support team.
  • To complete project in time.
  • To get information of competitors quality, price etc.
  • Sales strategies defining according to area.
  • Visiting all branches time to time.
  • Sales grow beyond existing T.O.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets for lifts, elevators, and modernization projects.
  • Identify new business opportunities through networking, architects, builders and contractors.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and tenders in line with client specifications.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Monitor competitor activities and suggest market positioning strategies.
  • Coordinate with project, installation, and service teams to ensure smooth handover of sold projects.
  • Train, guide, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and present to managing director.
  • Monitoring daily activities of sales team.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of elevators/lifts industry, products, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with architects, and contractors and builders.
  • Team leadership and motivation.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Market share growth in the assigned territory.
  • Customer satisfaction & repeat business.
  • Timely submission of offers, tenders, and reports.
  • Team performance and development.
  • Weekly task completion of sales team.
  • Associating new ARC, Builders.
  • Visiting ARC/Builders with team regularly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

Experiences

  • 10-12years of experience in project sales with at least 3years in team handling.

Pay Structure

  • CTC-10 Lakh per annum

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to: Managing Director
