Job description
  • Position Rationale
  • The Sales Manager Home & Personal Care is responsible for achieving business targets and profitability through strategic planning and execution. They design and implement business plans to expand customer base and ensure market presence in India and the Middle East. The role involves sales forecasting, market research, and customer acquisition aligned with COSMOS/ECOCERT standards. They oversee business operations, certification processes, compliance, and coordination with the head office. Additionally, they manage human resources, ensure quality standards, and support implementation of global HPC strategies.
  • Tasks
  • Following is the Job Responsibilities of a Sales Manager:
  1. Business target and budget

    - Making and achieving budget and sales plan for home and personal care business unit for turnover and profitability.
  2. Designing and implementing a strategic business plan

    that expands company s customer base and ensure its strong presence, in accordance with the Home and Personal care BU strategy.
  3. Present revenue / sales reports

    and realistic forecasts to the management on regular basis.
  4. Conduct trend analysis, Market research

    and identify the growing opportunities for HPC market in India and ME.
  5. Customer acquisition

    - approaching new customers to promote Home & Personal Care activities (COSMOS/ECOCERT private standards) and acquire new business accounts.
  6. Business operations

    - responsible for quotations, invoicing, accounts, and renewals of new and existing clients. Manage the certification process - scheduling and conducting inspections by field staff and decision issuance. Organize and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity.
  7. Quality and compliance -

    Ensure adherence to Group quality standards and compliance to internal and external quality requirements.
Profile
  • Education

    : Graduation/Post Graduation in Cosmetic Technology/Chemistry/Food Technology
  • Experience

    : Minimum 10 year of experience. And 2+ years in a sales Manager role
  • Technical skills

    :
  1. Experience in Sales is preferred
  2. Familiarity with MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Word and Excel) is mandatory.
  • Other Skills:

    English & Hindi: Professional Proficiency Mandatory
