Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Business Acquisition

    • Drive new client acquisition in the Business Instalment Loan (BIL) segment through open market sourcing.
    • Identify and engage potential SME/MSME customers requiring installment-based financing.
  • Direct Sales Agency (DSA) Management

    • Build, manage, and expand a strong network of DSAs to generate consistent business.
    • Regularly interact with empaneled DSAs and onboard new ones to strengthen market presence.
  • Target Achievement

    • Achieve monthly and quarterly loan disbursement targets.
    • Monitor sanction ratios and conversion rates to ensure healthy portfolio growth.
  • Market Development

    • Map catchment areas and identify high-potential business clusters.
    • Track competitor activities and provide feedback to product and policy teams.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement

    • Meet prospective clients, explain loan products, eligibility, and repayment structures.
    • Negotiate terms and ensure smooth onboarding of customers.
  • Process & Compliance

    • Ensure adherence to internal credit policies and RBI guidelines.
    • Maintain accuracy in documentation and timely submission of loan files.
  • Relationship Management

    • Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
    • Cross-sell other banking products where relevant.
  • Reporting & Analysis

    • Provide regular updates to senior management on acquisition numbers, DSA performance, and market trends.
    • Use MIS tools to track progress and identify improvement areas.
