SALES HEAD -PAN INDIA for packing materials co at Chennai

Location: Chennai

Region: PAN INDIA

CTC: Maximum gross up to 24 LPA based on your current CTC

Position Overview:

Sales Head

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive national sales strategy to promote the fumigate additive across India.
    • Identify key FMCG food manufacturing companies, poultry feed producers, and allied industries for business development.
    • Establish and manage a nationwide distributor and direct client network.
  • Business Development:

    • Generate new leads and convert them into long-term business partnerships.
    • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and technical demonstrations.
    • Regularly follow up with clients for orders, feedback, and account expansion.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Build, mentor, and lead a PAN India sales team.
    • Set targets and KPIs for regional sales teams and monitor performance.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting:

    • Conduct market analysis, track competitors, and suggest product positioning strategies.
    • Provide detailed sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, preferably in

      FMCG packaging materials

      , such as:
      • Packaging film
      • Corrugated boxes
      • Laminated materials
      • Industrial packaging
    • Experience in selling to

      FMCG food manufacturers

      ,

      poultry feed manufacturers

      , and

      agri-processing companies

      is essential.
  • Skills:

    • Strong B2B sales and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
    • Strategic thinking and customer-centric approach.
  • Qualifications:

    • MBA preferred.
  • Willingness to Travel:

    • Should be willing to travel extensively across India for client visits and team management.
