Job Description

Job Summary:

The Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling industrial adhesives, coatings, and specialty chemical products to target customers in packaging, paper, board, and related industries. The role requires strong technical understanding, market awareness, and relationship-building skills to drive business growth and meet revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in target segments such as paper, board, packaging, hygiene, and converting industries.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective planning and execution.
  • Conduct customer visits, technical discussions, and product presentations.
  • Coordinate with the technical and production teams to ensure product suitability and performance for client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and end users.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing movements, and report regularly to management.
  • Prepare and maintain sales forecasts, CRM data, and visit reports.
  • Support marketing activities such as exhibitions, seminars, and product launches.
  • Follow up on sample trials, ensure timely feedback, and assist in product approval processes.
  • Ensure timely payment collections and adherence to company credit policy.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of adhesives, coatings, emulsions, or chemical formulations used in industrial applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand technical datasheets and explain product performance to customers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and willing to travel extensively.

Educational Qualification:

  • B.Sc. / M.Sc. (Chemistry) or B.E. / B.Tech (Chemical / Polymer / Paint Technology) preferred.
  • MBA in Marketing will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 2–6 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in adhesives, coatings, or specialty chemicals.
  • Experience in handling B2B clients in packaging, paper, or converting industries is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,913.63 - ₹30,793.69 per month

Work Location: In person
