Role Description Roles and Responsibilities Handle procurement of IT hardware (laptops, desktops, servers, networking equipment, peripherals, etc.) and licensed software. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with IT vendors, OEMs, distributors, and resellers. Manage vendor contracts, renewals, license compliances, and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts). Compare quotations, evaluate technical & commercial proposals, and finalize procurement orders. Coordinate with IT, Finance, and other departments to understand requirements and ensure timely fulfillment. Maintain procurement records, track budgets, and prepare MIS reports. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, IT standards, and data security requirements. Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to secure best pricing and service levels. Support IT asset lifecycle management (procurement, renewals, replacements, and disposals). Keep up-to-date with IT market trends, new technologies, and vendor offerings. Requirements and skills Proven work experience as a Purchasing Specialist. Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors) Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills Understanding of supply chain procedures Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Import Procurement or IT hardware products knowledge is an added advantage Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location: In person
