Sales Executive ( Science Background )

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy Development:

   • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
   • Understand the scientific market landscape and customer needs to tailor solutions and approaches.

2. Product Knowledge and Demonstrations:

   • Utilize scientific expertise to present and demonstrate products/services to potential clients, answering any technical questions.
   • Provide clear and concise product explanations and applications.

3. Lead Generation and Qualification:

   • Identify and generate new business opportunities within the scientific and healthcare sectors.
   • Qualify leads, assess potential, and follow up on prospects to convert into sales.

4. Client Relationship Management:

   • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and prospects.
   • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

5. Market Research:

   • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitors, and new scientific advancements to identify potential opportunities.
   • Utilize knowledge of industry regulations and trends to offer insights and guidance to clients.

6. Sales Reporting and Documentation:

   • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and forecasts using CRM tools.
   • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to management.

7. Collaboration:

   • Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer support teams to provide customer insights and feedback.
   • Participate in internal meetings and cross-functional initiatives to improve product offerings and sales processes.

8. Negotiation and Closing Sales:

   • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients, ensuring mutual benefit while meeting company objectives.
   • Close deals effectively, ensuring timely and smooth execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, etc.).
• Proven sales experience in a scientific or technical field (ideally 2+ years).
• Strong understanding of scientific concepts, products, and services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to translate technical details into understandable benefits for clients.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented with a proactive attitude.
• Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in the medical, pharmaceutical, or laboratory equipment sectors.
