Our Client, a leading laminate industry company, seeks a dynamic, target-driven Sales Executive to manage and grow the Mumbai sales territory.

Position: Sales Executive

Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai

Qualification: Graduate / Engineer / MBA

Experience: Minimum 2 3 Years

Salary: Up to 9.00 LPA

Job Profile - Field Sales & Channel Development

This role requires executing field sales, achieving revenue targets, and building strong relationships with retail and distribution partners, primarily within the architectural and interior design segment.

  • Retail/Channel Management & Sales:

Drive primary and secondary sales to meet monthly/quarterly targets via daily visits to hardware shops and distributors across the assigned Mumbai territory.

Responsibilities include monitoring stock, managing credit outstanding, ensuring efficient supply chain, and coordinating logistics for prompt issue resolution.

  • Training & Merchandising (Core Focus):

Serve as the primary product expert, conducting regular training for dealer staff and owners on new designs, product features, and competitive value propositions.

Ensure optimal visibility and correct placement of merchandising materials, sample books, and display boards in retail outlets.

  • Market Intelligence & Reporting:

Gather and analyse market intelligence to inform management strategy.

Accurately prepare and submit daily sales reports, visit reports, and monthly forecasts using the CRM tool.

Maintain an updated database of architects, interior designers, and key industry influencers.

Skills & Competencies

  • Must meet challenging sales targets and manage a wide retail network.
  • Requires strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, particularly in Hindi/Marathi.
  • Excellent planning is essential for efficient territory management across the Mumbai metropolitan area.
  • Proficiency in MS Office/CRM and possessing reliable transport for extensive field travel is mandatory.
  • The ideal candidate is highly energetic and self-motivated.
