Sales Executive logistics

As a Sales Executive with experience in NVOCC and freight forwarding, you will be a crucial member of our team, responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities in ocean freight services. Your role will involve promoting our shipping lines, services, and logistics solutions to clients, negotiating rates, and ensuring excellent service delivery. Here is a breakdown of your main responsibilities: - Identify and develop new business opportunities in ocean freight, focusing on NVOCC services. - Promote our shipping lines, services, and logistics solutions to importers, exporters, and freight forwarders. - Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. - Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations. - Negotiate rates in alignment with company guidelines. - Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery. - Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adapt strategies. - Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets. - Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and client meetings. To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills: - Bachelor's degree. - Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience in NVOCC, freight forwarding, or shipping. - Strong understanding of international shipping documentation and Incoterms. - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently. - Proficiency in MS Office. - Ability to travel locally or domestically as needed. Preferred Experience: - Existing client base in freight forwarding or logistics. - Familiarity with trade routes, particularly India, Middle East, Intra Asia.
