About Gokulam Grand Trivandrum

Gokulam Grand Trivandrum is a leading 5-star hotel that blends modern luxury with traditional hospitality. With state-of-the-art facilities, elegant rooms, and world-class event spaces, we cater to both business and leisure guests. We are currently seeking a dynamic and target-driven Sales Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team.

Position Summary:

The Sales Executive is responsible for generating revenue by proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities across corporate, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions), and leisure segments. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the local market, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in hotel sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, site inspections, and client meetings to promote the hotel’s services and facilities.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate rates and contracts, and close sales effectively.
  • Achieve monthly and yearly revenue targets as assigned by the Sales Manager.
  • Coordinate with operations, reservations, and banquet teams to ensure smooth execution of bookings.
  • Maintain an updated database of clients, leads, and business opportunities in the system.
  • Participate in sales campaigns, promotional activities, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and pipeline updates for management review.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Sales Executive in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of corporate and travel trade markets in Kerala and surrounding regions is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office and hotel sales software.
  • Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Must be flexible with working hours and available to travel as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹264,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
