A Banquet Sales Executive is responsible for generating revenue for a hotel or venue by selling banquet services, including event planning, catering, and room rentals. They focus on identifying and converting leads into sales, developing client relationships, and ensuring seamless event execution. Key responsibilities include creating sales proposals, delivering presentations, conducting site visits, and coordinating with the banquet operations team. Here's a more detailed breakdown of the role:Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation and Conversion: Identifying potential clients and converting them into sales through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and online marketing. Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their event needs and ensure their satisfaction. Sales Proposal and Contract Preparation: Creating and presenting compelling sales proposals and contracts that outline event details and pricing. Event Planning and Coordination: Working with clients to plan and execute events, including coordinating with vendors, managing event budgets, and ensuring a smooth event flow. Site Visits and Presentations: Conducting site visits and providing clients with tours of banquet facilities, showcasing the venue's capabilities and amenities. Reporting and Analysis: Preparing regular reports on sales activities, revenue generation, and event performance to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Meeting Sales Targets: Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets to contribute to the overall revenue goals of the hotel or venue.
