Job Description

Sales Executive

The Sales Executive will be responsible for supporting the Sales Manager in developing and expanding business for the Business Centre. They will work closely with the Sales Manager to ensure that sales of services within the business are maximised.

This role carries responsibility for developing business not only for the Business Centre in which they are based, but also for other locations within the portfolio. The Sales Executive will work in close collaboration with the Sales Manager, the operational team, and Avanta’s Direct Sales team based at the head office.

A key aspect of the role will be building and maintaining excellent working relationships with business partners, particularly brokers and commercial agents.


The Person

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in supporting business development, generating new business, and managing third-party relationships with small, medium, or large accounts.

They must demonstrate:

  • Excellent presentation skills, coupled with enthusiasm.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Computer literacy and numeracy, with the ability to manage databases and perform basic calculations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to tailor solutions to suit a wide variety of client needs in a consultative sales environment.


Daily Tasks

  • Conduct business centre viewings.
  • Provide regular feedback to introductory parties, particularly brokers.
  • Prospect for new accounts, building rapport and long-term profitable relationships.
  • Proactively engage with the local territory – including commercial agents, business groups, and companies marketing new offices.
  • Take lead responsibility for achieving the budgeted occupancy for the centre.
  • Ensure the sales database system is accurately maintained and supported.
  • Report and monitor sales activity on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Network both internally and externally.
