Sales Engineer

Order Review & Documentation

• Review Order Transmittals from the Projects Department for assigned projects, as directed by the In-Charge, System Engineering.
• Ensure timely release of contractual drawings and associated technical documentation.

Project Deliverables & Specifications

• Adhere to timelines mutually agreed upon with the Projects Department.
• Prepare and release:
• Purchase specifications for directly procured items (out-bought components)
• Loose Supply Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Piping specifications and valve schedules
• Master BOM for Site Execution team
• Submit all documentation for approval through the In-Charge, System Engineering.

Vendor Coordination & Evaluation

• Review and evaluate vendor offers to support the Supply Chain team in timely procurement activities.
• Support vendor drawing approvals and technical clarifications.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Maintain effective coordination and relationships with:
• Internal teams: Projects, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Site Execution
• Intra-departmental groups within Engineering Function
• External DBO vendors during offer evaluation and technical review phases

Customer Engagement/Support

• Participate in customer meetings as required during various stages of project execution.
• Resolution of Customer complaints & Effective implementation of root cause analysis (RCA) with process improvements to prevent defects.

Quality Management System

• Conversant with QMS standards & procedures, Preparation of SOPs, Internal / External Audits support.

Job Requirements & Qualification

• BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Over 3-5 years of Experience in Mechanical Balance of Plant.
• Candidate from Steam Turbine Domain, Balance of Plant Installation & Commissioning Experience with be preferred.

Additional Details

Balance of Plant Expertise

• Hands-on experience in a Steam Turbine BOP auxiliaries such as Condensing system, HP/LP heaters, Piping, PRDS, DSH, Silencer, Motorised valves.

Engineering Knowledge

• Proficient in mechanical engineering principles, including calculations and selection of materials of construction.

• Technical Proficiency

• Skilled in interpreting P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) and HMBDs (Heat & Mass Balance Diagrams).
• Advanced expertise in 2D drawing generation, and creation of Bills of Materials (BOMs).

Software Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and familiar with enterprise tools such as SAP, Primavera, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities with the ability to drive tasks and guide cross-functional teams.
