Job Title: Sales Engineer Industry: Renewable Energy (Rooftop Solar EPC) Location: Mumbai (with travel within surrounding areas) Experience: 2–4 years Role Summary We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Sales Engineer to support our business development efforts. This role combines customer interaction with technical expertise to convert leads into rooftop solar projects. Key Responsibilities Assist BD Head in lead follow-ups, proposal creation, and deal closures Conduct site surveys and coordinate technical assessments Prepare basic system designs, techno-commercial proposals, and presentations Address client queries with technical clarity and professionalism Coordinate with design and execution teams for accurate feasibility and sizing Maintain records and reports using CRM tools Build relationships with RWAs, commercial clients, and channel partners Stay informed on solar products, DISCOM regulations, and MNRE policies Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field 2–4 years of experience in rooftop solar sales or technical pre-sales Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of solar components, sizing tools (e.g., Helioscope/PVsyst), and CRM systems Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint Willingness to travel locally for site visits Skills: renewable energy,sales,excellent communication,rooftop solar sales,business development,crm tools,interpersonal skills Show more Show less
