Job Overview:

Sales Engineer - Automation Products

Education Required:

  • Diploma or Bachelor s degree in

    Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation

    , or a related field.
  • MBA or relevant sales certification will be an added advantage.

No. of Vacancies:

Experience:

  • Minimum

    1+ year

    of experience in sales engineering, preferably in

    automation or power supply products

    , with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Business Development:

    Identify and develop new business opportunities for Industrial Automation products across Kerala.
  • Client Engagement:

    Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, system integrators, and distributors.
  • Technical Expertise:

    Provide technical support, product demonstrations, and guidance on selection, application, and installation.
  • Proposal Quotation:

    Prepare and present technical proposals and quotations, addressing customer queries in detail.
  • Market Analysis:

    Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities.
  • Collaborative Efforts:

    Coordinate with engineering, product, and marketing teams to support product improvements and campaigns.
  • Reporting:

    Maintain accurate sales records and prepare periodic reports and forecasts for management review.

Required Skills Expertise:

  • Technical Skills:

    Strong knowledge of automation products and their industrial applications, with troubleshooting capability.
  • Communication Skills:

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Sales Acumen:

    Strong negotiation, presentation, and deal-closing skills with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Location:

    Must be based in

    Kochi

    and willing to travel across the Kerala region.
