Job Title: Sales Engineer – Industrial Automation

About the Role:

We are looking for a Sales Engineer with experience in industrial automation and instrumentation products. This is a client-facing sales role, where you’ll be helping customers find the right automation solutions for their needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Meet with customers in industries like manufacturing, process, or OEMs.
• Promote and sell automation products such as PLCs, SCADA systems, HMIs, drives (VFDs), sensors, and control panels.
• Understand customer requirements and suggest the right products and solutions.
• Give product presentations and demos.
• Work with the internal team to prepare quotations and proposals.
• Follow up with leads, manage sales pipeline, and close deals.
• Maintain good relationships with existing customers and ensure satisfaction.
• Keep yourself updated with new products and market trends.

What We’re Looking For:

• Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial automation sales.
• Good knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, drives, and other control products.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ready to travel for client visits as needed.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with automation brands (any make).
• Knowledge of industries like automobile, cement, tyre, food, or packaging.
• Ability to prepare technical and commercial offers.
