Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue and profitability targets through the defined region/segment distribution network.  
  • Promote new product offerings or special schemes to achieve sales growth.
  • Adopt a cross-selling and value selling approach to maximize wallet share at key accounts.
  • Ensure distributor compliance with policies, branding, etc.
  • Build strong customer relationships with Key End users.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer insights to internal stakeholders.

Metrics

  • 36 years of experience in B2B Industrial Sales, preferably in bearings, power transmission, or mechanical components.
  • Experience in working with distribution networks and industrial end-users.
  • Knowledge of industrial segments like Cement, Steel, Power, Mining, and general manufacturing is a plus.

Competencies

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with a focus on value-based selling.
  • Relationship-building ability with both distributors and end-users.
  • Self-driven, accountable, and results-oriented.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
