Sales Engineer - Chemicals

Job Summary

We are looking for an Assistant Manager M&TS to join our team in our Delhi/Vadodara office. In this position, you will be involved in marketing and technical services of Catalysts/adsorbents for Specialty chemicals or applications working closely with customers and internal stake holders to enhance sales in Specialties segment

Role & responsibilities

• Interact with customers to understand their current and upcoming requirements. Identify new applications, opportunities in specialty chemicals/pharma/new energy sectors
• Identify potential clients through research, networking, and cold calling/e-mails
• Build relationships with customers at all levels
• Coordinate with R&D/QA and customers for samples submission, optimization and approvals
• Technical support to customers for trials and qualification of SCILs products
• Analyse market trends and competitor activities
• Conduct literature search, market research to identify new opportunities
• Support in preparation of sales budget, business plans
• Working closely with internal stakeholders R&D, Production, QA and other sales team members to achieve sales plans
• Prepare technical presentations, technical proposals, commercial offers
• Maintain data, records of all samples, proposals, customer information
• Prepare reports

Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred candidate profile

1-5 years of hands-on experience in sales or marketing in specialty chemical industry

Candidates currently working in R&D/Technology areas with strong communication skills and interested in making career in sales/business can also be considered
