Sales Development Specialist, Chromatography

Main Responsibilities & Tasks

• Initiate and manage the full sales process within an assigned territory, from lead generation to after-sales, including collaboration on trials, testing, and order closing.
• Actively use

  SFDC

  to document leads, opportunities, and all customer interactions, ensuring the CRM system is always up-to-date.
• Analyze CRM data to identify trends, generate customer insights, and track sales performance for assigned customers.
• Develop and achieve

  chromatography product group targets

  by focusing on seeding activities and identifying new opportunities.
• Provide technical and commercial support to Account Managers and customers on relevant products and processes.
• Manage the short-, mid-, and long-term opportunity funnel and account portfolio to support market goals.
• Identify, implement, and execute appropriate action plans to develop business for strategic products.

Qualifications

• An academic degree in

  life sciences or engineering

  . A higher level of education is beneficial.
• Relevant experience in

  Chromatography process development

  or field sales, with a background in a laboratory setting in Life Science.
• Experience in selling chromatography systems or consumables to clients in different sectors is a plus.

Skills

• Hands-on knowledge and proactive usage of

  SFDC

  and other

  CRM tools

  .
• Relevant

  technical knowledge

  and extensive

  industry knowledge

  (e.g., Biotech).
