About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative at Kaptured.ai, you will be responsible for driving new business pipeline and creating meaningful engagement with potential clients. Your role will include identifying prospective businesses, initiating communication across multiple outreach channels, and scheduling qualified meetings for the sales team. You will play a crucial part in representing the brand and demonstrating the value of our AI-driven product photography and content solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Identification & Research

  • Research and identify potential leads across sectors such as fashion, jewellery, apparel, lifestyle, beauty, and D2C brands.
  • Analyze and qualify prospective leads based on relevance and potential fit.
  • Maintain an active database of prospects in the CRM system.

2. Outreach & Engagement

  • Initiate first-level prospect communication via: WhatsApp outreach campaigns
  • Craft personalized outreach messages to spark interest and build trust.

3. Appointment & Pipeline Management

  • Convert prospects into

    qualified sales meetings

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings between the lead and sales team.
  • Follow up consistently with warm and cold leads to improve response and conversion rates.

4. Collaboration with Marketing

  • Work closely with marketing teams to optimize messaging, scripts, and automation flows.
  • Participate in feedback loops to share customer insights, objections, and campaign suggestions.

5. Reporting & Data Accuracy

  • Update CRM records regularly with accurate lead status, notes, and engagement details.
  • Provide weekly reports on outreach performance, conversions, and pipeline metrics.
  • Track and meet KPIs around engagement, meetings booked, and outbound volume.

Performance Expectations

  • Continuous growth in outreach-to-meeting conversion ratio.
  • High-quality communication and professionalism in all prospect interactions.
  • Ability to independently manage pipelines and meet weekly/monthly targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident with calling, messaging, and initiating outbound communication.
  • Familiarity with WhatsApp marketing tools, cold outreach methods, and CRM platforms preferred.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience in SaaS, AI solutions, digital products, or eCommerce tech.
  • Understanding of D2C brands, eCommerce workflows, or digital marketing.
