Sales Coordinator Roles & Responsibilities
Ø Sales Administration: Manage customer accounts, update CRM systems, and prepare sales documents.
Ø Client Communication: Handle inquiries, confirm orders, and resolve basic service issues.
Ø Order Processing: Process orders, coordinate with logistics, and track deliveries.
Ø Sales Reporting: Generate sales reports and performance metrics for management.
Ø Meeting Coordination: Organize sales meetings, client visits, and promotional events.
Ø Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
Ø Lead Support: Help qualify leads, schedule meetings, and nurture sales prospects.
Ø Problem Resolution: Address minor client issues and escalate complex concerns.
Ø Handling of all the social media accounts owned by the company.
Qualification and Skill
Ø Education: Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields, MBAs/Engineers
Ø Experience: 2-5 years in sales support, customer service, or admin coordination.
Ø Proficient in MS Office: More Emphasis on Excel for data handling and reporting.
Ø Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for client and internal interactions.
Ø CRM Proficiency: Experience with tools like Salesforce, Hub Spot, or Zoho.
Ø Organization: Skilled at multitasking, prioritizing, and maintaining accuracy under pressure.
Ø Data Handling: Ability to manage spreadsheets, databases, and sales reporting.
Ø Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues.
Ø Teamwork: Collaborates effectively across sales, logistics, marketing, production and finance.
Ø Customer Focus: Builds strong client relationships with responsiveness and empathy.
Objective of the Sales Coordinator Role :
Ø Streamline Processes: Coordinate between clients, sales, and internal teams for smooth workflows.
Ø Boost Customer Satisfaction: Ensure timely responses, accurate orders, and proactive support.
Ø Support Sales Growth: Handle admin tasks so sales teams can focus on closing deals.
Ø Maintain Data Accuracy: Provide real-time sales data and actionable insights.
Ø Foster Collaboration: Bridge communication across sales, logistics, finance, and marketing.
Experience*
Ø 2 to 5 years as Commercial Executive in a mid size companies (handling building material, paints, tiles, bathroom fittings or similar) with Pan India Operations with monthly turnover of Rs. 3 to 5 crores.
Ø 2-5 years in sales support, customer service, or admin coordination.
