Job Description

business development and sales growth across quick commerce platforms and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) channels

Key Responsibilities

Quick Commerce (Q-Commerce) Sales:

  • Identify, onboard, and manage partnerships with quick commerce platforms (e.g., Zepto, Blinkit, Instamart, BigBasket, Dunzo, etc.).
  • Drive visibility, assortment, and conversions through platform-specific sales strategies.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, margins, and marketing spends with Q-commerce partners.
  • Optimize product listings, pricing, and promotions to maximize growth.
  • Track and analyze sales data to improve sell-through rates and customer acquisition.

D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) Sales:

  • Lead growth for the brands D2C website and marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Jiomart, Nykaa, etc.).
  • Drive website traffic, conversion, and repeat purchase through performance marketing, SEO/SEM, influencer campaigns, and CRM initiatives.
  • Manage end-to-end customer journey: product cataloguing, pricing, fulfillment, returns, and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing and design teams to run targeted campaigns.
  • Monitor KPIs (CAC, CLV, ROAS, conversion rate) to ensure sustainable growth.

Business Development & Strategy:

  • Identify new growth opportunities and partnerships across online and offline channels.
  • Build and execute joint business plans with partners to scale brand presence.
  • Work closely with supply chain, marketing, and finance teams to ensure operational excellence.
  • Track competition and industry trends to recommend innovative strategies.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of

    e-commerce, Q-commerce, and D2C ecosystems

    in India.
  • Experience in

    business development, account management, or sales

    .
  • Data-driven decision-making; proficiency in

    Excel, analytics tools, and dashboards

    .
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 3–7 years of experience in

    e-commerce, FMCG, retail, or consumer brands

    (depending on seniority).
  • Proven track record of driving sales and partnerships in Q-commerce or D2C channels.
