Job Description

The Sales Consultant will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, with a focus on cyber security solutions. Experience in consulting and business development is preferred, along with the ability to develop sales materials such as pitches, brochures, and competitive intelligence content. The Sales Consultant will engage with prospective clients through various means, including cold calling and emails, to generate new business opportunities. Collaboration with internal engineering teams is essential to ensure a comprehensive approach to client acquisition. Client and prospective client meetings will be conducted to secure sales, work orders, and respond to requests for information and proposals. Quantitative analyses will be performed to develop proposals and statements of work. The Sales Consultant will work diligently to expand the client base through relationship building, marketing initiatives, and promotional activities. Collaboration with Product Management and Pre-Sales teams will be necessary to coordinate proofs of concept. Marketing solutions will be designed based on product knowledge to drive success for customers. Understanding customer needs and challenges will be crucial in proposing effective solutions and delivering exceptional client experiences. The Sales Consultant will act as the voice of the client internally and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction. Feedback from the market will be provided to Product Management to address any gaps between product functionality and customer demands. The ideal candidate should have 2-5 years of relevant experience in business development, preferably with an MBA in Marketing, Management, or Business Administration. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in English, and the ability to handle large amounts of data are required. The ability to understand reporting requirements, drive quality output, and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders is essential. Strong communication skills, self-motivation, flexibility, and teamwork capabilities are also key attributes for success in this role. Expertise in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is expected. While the role is based in Bangalore, occasional travel may be necessary.,
