Job Description for the Commercial Support Executive role Job Title: Executive / Senior Executive Sales Commercial Support (Vaccines & Pharma Divisions) Location: Azamabad, Hyderabad with occasional field visits as per Sales Heads requirements Reporting To: Primary: Sales Heads (Vaccines and Pharma divisions) Dotted Line: Commercial Head Manager Experience Required: 47 years of total professional experience in sales coordination, commercial support, or operations roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Role Overview: The Executive will assist Sales Heads in managing daily operations of the Vaccine and Pharma Sales Divisions across India. This includes sales tracking, commercial documentation, tender management, sales reporting, forecasting, cross-functional coordination, and assisting with internal sales reviews. The role will serve as a key support hub for ensuring smooth regional operations and will help build an institutional knowledge base for future commercial leadership transitions. Key Responsibilities: I. Sales Operations Support: Consolidate and track sales targets vs. achievements region-wise across India Assist in preparing forecasts, gap analyses, and margin/profitability calculations using advanced Excel Support in compiling sales review presentations, data summaries, and key meeting documents Maintain trackers for market expansion, new launches, and brand performance metrics II. Commercial and Tender Support: Draft, process, and track quotations, commercial offers, and tender documentation- as per need Coordinate approvals for tenders and pricing proposals under guidance of Sales Heads and Commercial Team Ensure timely submissions for tender deadlines and commercial deals III. Tools and Data Management: Use Advanced Excel for dashboards and trackers Operate Power BI for visual sales reporting (optional, but good to have) Update data into SAP and SFA system (SanEforce) regularly Ensure timely CRM/SFA data alignment with field inputs IV. Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with CFA partners, logistics, and field teams for product dispatch, stock availability etc. Coordinate with Marketing for inputs, campaign collaterals, and field-level brand support Interface with Finance for order processing, incentive tracking, receivables, and credit notes V. Administrative Support: Organize meeting schedules, review calendars, and action follow-ups for Sales Heads Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications Skills & Competencies Required: A. Technical Skills: Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Dashboarding, Data cleaning, Formulae) Familiarity with SAP and SanEforce (or equivalent CRM/SFA tools) Power BI knowledge (preferred, not mandatory) Strong in forecasting, margin calculations, and sales performance analysis B. Soft Skills: Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability Effective multitasking under deadlines Good communication skills – written and verbal Cross-functional collaboration (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain) Proactive approach and high level of confidentiality Career Progression Path: Executive Senior Executive Assistant Manager – Commercial Operations Manager – Sales Strategy & Commercial Operations Exposure to strategic projects and commercial leadership training for grooming into future Sales Operations or Commercial Excellence roles.
