Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-friendly cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in cash handling, billing, or POS operations. As a cashier, you will ensure smooth transactions, accurate billing, and excellent customer service at the checkout counter.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cash Handling & Billing

· Operate billing software and POS systems efficiently.

· Handle cash, card, UPI, and other digital payments accurately.

· Manage refunds, discounts, and exchanges as per company policy.

2. Customer Service

· Greet customers with a positive attitude and ensure smooth checkout.

· Answer basic product or billing-related queries.

· Resolve small customer concerns at the billing desk.

3. Daily Operations

· Ensure the billing counter is neat, organized, and stocked with receipt rolls, carry bags, etc.

· Balance cash drawer at the end of shift and report to the account manager .

4. Compliance & Security

· Follow all company cash handling policies.

· Safeguard against errors and discrepancies.

Qualifications

· Minimum 1 year of experience in cash handling or retail cashier role.

· Basic knowledge of billing software / POS system.

· Strong communication skills in Hindi & English.

· Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused.

Education

· 12th Pass or Graduate (any stream).
