About the Role:

Rail and Metro

This is a strategic, outward-facing role suited for professionals ready to take ownership of business growth in the Rail and Metro sectors. Youll work closely with senior decision-makers in Government and private sector, internal teams, and external partners—requiring not just commercial and technical skills, but also the ability to navigate complex environments with clarity, composure, and a collaborative mindset.

What You’ll Do

I.

  • Identify and pursue high-potential opportunities in the rail, metro, and infrastructure segments
  • Develop and execute a targeted growth strategy, using market insights and competitive intelligence
  • Bring and build a strong industry network to unlock partnerships and alliances
  • Represent the company at key industry events, forums, and meetings to enhance visibility

II.

  • Lead interactions with clients, JV partners, and public agencies.
  • Build long-term, trust-based relationships across technical and decision-making levels.
  • Drive conversations, pitches, and negotiations to position us as a preferred solutions partner.

III.

  • Own the bid lifecycle—from qualification to submission (& beyond)—including pricing, risk review, and coordination across teams.
  • Collaborate with technical, legal, finance, and HR colleagues, partners, consultants across geographies.
  • Negotiate contracts that are commercially sound and aligned with business goals.

IV.

  • Support project initiation by ensuring smooth transition from sales to delivery.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities for documentation, approvals, and compliance.
  • Ensure alignment with company standards, ISO requirements, and regulatory norms.

    – Capable of translating technical and commercial content into compelling conversations and proposals.
  • Bid & Tendering Experience

    – Hands-on experience managing complex, multi-party bids.
  • Negotiation Skill

    – Comfortable handling contract terms, pricing, and deal structure.
  • Strategic Focus

    – Able to think ahead, align initiatives with business goals, and adapt to shifting market conditions.
  • Professional Maturity

    – A collaborative, grounded approach with the ability to listen well, navigate complex situations as also ambiguity, and build trust across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Education:

  • Required:

    B. Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Railway Engineering
  • Preferred:

    MBA (Marketing) or PG in Engineering, Urban Planning, or related disciplines
