Sales Application Support Specialist

Avantor is seeking a Sales Application Support Specialist who will be responsible for offering pre- and post-sales technical support to customers and sales associates through telephone, email, and live chat. The successful candidate will work alongside experts in various scientific fields within Life Sciences. To excel in this role, you should possess a Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related life science discipline. Ideally, you should have 0-2 years of experience in the Life science industry, particularly in molecular/microbiology labs. Key qualifications include excellent communication skills, a strong team-oriented mindset, customer-centric approach, sales awareness, and analytical skills. Additionally, competencies such as analytical and critical thinking, teamwork, innovation, customer focus, and driving results are highly valued at Avantor. In this position, you will provide technical information about Avantor's product range to customers, assist in maximizing sales opportunities, maintain a comprehensive product database, build relationships with internal teams, and deliver results under pressure while upholding Avantor's policies and values.
