Marx Tradelink is a Gujarat Headquartered logistics company. Within India Marx Tradelink have total 12 offices and 3 business verticals i.e. 1) Freight Forwarding (Air & Ocean), 2) Door to Door Services, 3) Export Marketing

Marx Tradelink , Rajkot Office is inviting interested candidates from freight forwarding background with a minimum experience of 2 years in "Sales role" for a position of “Assistant Sales and Purchasing Manager”

Major responsibilities would include :-

1. Identify potential customers: Use referrals, networking, and cold calling to find new customers

2. Understand customer needs: Listen to customers to understand their logistics and Shipping related problems and challenges.

3. Present products: Demonstrate services and explain how we can help and add value by increasing efficiencies and improve cost effectiveness in their logistics and supply chain

4. Negotiate: Negotiate prices and terms with customers

5. Close sales: Overcome objections and secure customer commitment for a long-term association.

6. Follow up: Follow up with customers to maintain continuity and ensure satisfaction and address issues if any.

7. Prepare reports: Track sales activities and customer interactions, and prepare reports for management

8. Collaborate: Work with other departments to ensure a seamless sales process.

Purchasing :

1. Call and network with multiple lines based on their service sector

2. Build, Maintain and Nurture Liner's Sales Colleagues relations

3. Compare and strike the best rate for shipment by calling and mailing to all the liners based on their service sector.
4. Be a top notch communicator, as excellent communication in your regional language is the key to find the best rates.5. Negotiate rates with our vendor network and close on the indicated rate as provided from shippers.

This position will be responsible to increase Revenue and Profitability through the acquisition of new accounts and selling additional services to an existing customer base and by purchasing from our vendors at best rates.

Responsible for growing the business and achieve the Revenue and Gross Profit targets as set by the management from time to time through proper execution of sales strategy and focusing on key products and trade lanes as decided by the management.

Should be a Self-starter with leadership qualities and comfortable being part of a smaller team, enthusiastic about contributing to the growth of the company and most important compliance of company procedures and policies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
