As an Area Sales Manager at Shalimar's, your primary goal is to expand the market presence of Shalimar's products in Bangalore, Bhallari, and Belagao, covering the Karnataka region with headquarters in Mysore, Mangalore, or Bangalore. Your role involves devising and executing sales strategies to meet sales targets, monitoring performance, and providing valuable insights to senior management. Additionally, you will lead and inspire a team of sales representatives, foster strong customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and manage inventory and distribution effectively. Your responsibilities include developing sales strategies to achieve market share objectives, analyzing market trends, and providing reports to senior management. You will lead, coach, and motivate the sales team, conduct regular performance reviews, and identify training needs to enhance team skills. Building and maintaining relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction and driving sales. You will also focus on market development by exploring new business opportunities, organizing promotional activities, and collaborating with the marketing team for effective campaigns. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in business or marketing, along with 3-5 years of sales experience in FMCG, particularly in edible oil and spices. A minimum of 5 years of sales management experience in the FMCG sector or related fields is preferred. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
