Sales and Marketing Intern

As a Travel Consultant at TravAround, situated in the heart of Kozhikode's premier business hub, HiLITE Business Park, your role is crucial in delivering personalized travel experiences to clients. You will engage with clients to understand their preferences, budgets, and requirements, offering expert advice and tailored travel solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing customized travel itineraries, managing bookings, maintaining vendor relationships, advising on travel documentation, providing customer support, conducting market research, and contributing to sales and revenue generation. Key Responsibilities: - Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and requirements - Design and curate customized travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities - Handle all aspects of travel bookings, including reservations, ticketing, and confirmations - Establish and maintain strong relationships with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other service providers - Advise clients on visa requirements, travel insurance, and other essential documentation - Provide ongoing support to clients before, during, and after their trips - Stay informed about industry trends, new destinations, and emerging travel technologies - Promote and upsell additional services, such as travel insurance and exclusive packages Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field - Minimum of 13 years in travel consulting or a similar role - Familiarity with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo - Excellent communication skills - Strong attention to detail - Problem-solving abilities - Sales acumen Preferred Qualifications: - Industry-recognized certifications - Proficiency in multiple languages - Expertise in niche travel segments such as luxury travel, adventure tourism, or corporate travel TravAround offers a dynamic work environment where you can collaborate with a team of passionate travel professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
