Sales Analytics Manager

You will play a key role in leveraging analytics to drive insights, leading to actionable planning and strategic decision-making in the Customer Development (CD) function at Colgate-Palmolive Company. Your responsibilities will include: - **Data Extraction**: - Utilizing SQL queries to extract data from Snowflake - Preference for leveraging AI for faster coding - Python knowledge is a plus - **Analyzing Data and Extracting Insights**: - Using advanced analytics and intelligence tools to interpret data from assortment/image recognition and order capture systems - **Conducting Business Analytics**: - Performing comprehensive analyses using MS Excel & Google sheets - Identifying emerging trends, gap areas, and opportunities for strategic decisions - **Collaborating with Stakeholders**: - Partnering with Brand, Retail Marketing, and Sales teams across Indirect Trade (IDT), Direct Trade (DT), and Ecommerce - Deriving detailed analytics and insights for a deep understanding of business subtleties - **Incorporating Qualitative Feedback**: - Gathering qualitative input from sales teams and customers to enhance the overall analytical process - **Managing Dashboards and Reports**: - Overseeing the development and maintenance of user-friendly, precise dashboards and reports - Ensuring actionable intelligence and optimizing performance - **Enhancing Sales Dashboards**: - Recommending and implementing improvements to adapt to evolving business needs - **Training Sales Teams**: - Conducting training sessions to foster better understanding and effective utilization of sales dashboards The ideal candidate profile includes: - 3-4 years of relevant Analytics experience, e.g., Sales Analytics/Commercial Analytics manager - Baseline understanding of commercial processes - Prior experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector is preferred Technical Skills required: - Highly proficient in data query languages (SQL) & Excel, Advanced Excel - Knowledge of Python, R is a plus - Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as DOMO, Tableau, Sigma, etc. Colgate-Palmolive is committed to inclusion, ensuring that each individual can be their authentic self, is treated with respect, and can contribute meaningfully to the business.
