Key Responsibilities: Safety Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with company guidelines and relevant regulations. Safety Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. Training and Education: Provide safety training to employees, supervisors, and contractors on safe work practices, emergency procedures, and regulatory requirements. Incident Investigation: Investigate workplace incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventative actions to prevent recurrence. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and corrective actions. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local safety regulations. Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures, and coordinate emergency drills and evacuations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in safety, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3 Years + Experience in safety management, inspection, or training. Knowledge of safety regulations and standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and motivate others. Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to use and interpret safety data. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
