Safety Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Policy Implementation:

• Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with company guidelines and relevant regulations. 

• Safety Audits and Inspections:

• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. 

• Training and Education:

• Provide safety training to employees, supervisors, and contractors on safe work practices, emergency procedures, and regulatory requirements. 

• Incident Investigation:

• Investigate workplace incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventative actions to prevent recurrence. 

• Documentation and Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and corrective actions. 

• Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all local safety regulations. 

• Emergency Response:

• Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures, and coordinate emergency drills and evacuations. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in safety, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 Years + Experience in safety management, inspection, or training.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate others.
• Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills. 

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to use and interpret safety data.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
