Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular
safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
at the workplace.
Ensure compliance with
Factories Act, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) regulations
, and company policies.
Organize and conduct
mock drills, safety training, and awareness programs
for employees.
Maintain statutory records and registers, including Form 7,
Form 11
and
Form 13
as per factories act legal requirements.
Monitor the use of
PPEs
and enforce safety discipline across the plant/site.
Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Support in preparation of
safety manuals, SOPs, and emergency response plans
.
Liaise with statutory authorities during inspections and audits.
Assist management in implementing continuous improvements in
health, safety, and environmental

Preferred candidate profile

Any graduation with a
Safety Diploma
from a recognized institute/university.
Strong knowledge of
safety standards, statutory compliance, and EHS norms
.
Familiarity with all
Safety Officer/Engineer duties
as per legal requirements.
Good communication and training skills.
Ability to handle
emergency situations
and conduct drills.
Proficiency in
MS Office
for reporting and documentation.
