Role & responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled Purchase engineer specializing in purchasing of electrical items like Electrical Panel, cables, motors, bought out components, Switch gears, PLC, VFD, Instruments like sensors, gauges, switches etc. The electrical buyer typically requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of electrical buying in an engineering company. Responsible for Electrical Panel buying must know calculation panel manufacturing cost. Responsible for buying of Electrical items like Motor, Switch gears, PLC, Understanding P&Id, cable schedule, hook-up drawing, cause & effect, operation philosophy will be an added advantage. Responsible for buying CE, ATEX marked Certified items Must have experience in rate contracts of regular purchasing items. Must have good negotiation skills. Working on SAP will also be an added advantage Knowledge of Automation components Cable scheduling, Field Instrumentation. Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to aid and technical support. Selection of right electrical good while creating PO. Preferred candidate profile
