Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Providing safety related trainings like first aid, fire fighting, emergency evacuation, material
handling and PPE training etc.
Carry out Job Safety analysis (JSA).
Carry out safety audit in the premises to identify the safety hazards and safety abnormalities.
Organizing the essential safety inspection and to check and evaluate the effectiveness of the
action taken or proposed to be taken to prevent personal injuries.
To promote setting up of safety committees and act as advisor and catalyst to such committees.
Carry out accident / incident investigation.
Conducting risk assessment and enforce preventive measures.
Eliminating unsafe conditions and unsafe acts that leads to unhealthy or injury.
Over view installation, maintenance and disposal of hazardous process / substances.
Report to concerned authorities as requested or mandated by regulations.
Authority to issuing and monitoring the permit to work systems.
HSE relevant to Factories Act related activities
Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
Develop and deliver effective safety training programs for employees on various aspects of industrial safety.

Desired Candidate Profile

2-7 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry or manufacturing sector.
Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. degree in Any Specialization; additional certification in Industrial Safety preferred.
Strong understanding of industrial safety principles, practices, and regulations (e.g., OSHA).
Excellent communication skills with ability to train employees at all levels.
