Safety Officer

As a Safety Officer at Leadec, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of personnel within the manufacturing industries. Your primary responsibility will be to plan and execute the Company and Customer EHS policies and programs at the site in Devanahalli, Karnataka. You will collaborate closely with the Customer EHS team to uphold safety standards and procedures. Your expertise in risk assessment and management, including HIRA/JSA, will be essential in identifying and mitigating potential hazards. You will be responsible for monitoring various safety aspects such as UC & UA, LOTO, PPEs, MSDS, PTW, and OHSA. In the event of accidents or incidents, you will be tasked with reporting them with a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). Your leadership skills will be put to the test as you motivate and guide the team to adhere to safety regulations and protocols at the workplace. Conducting safety meetings, training sessions, audits, and inspections will be part of your routine to ensure compliance and awareness among employees. Additionally, you will oversee the availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) and implement corrective measures as needed. Proficiency in MS Office tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word is required for preparing EHS reports and presentations. Your ability to work collaboratively as a team player is essential for the success of safety campaigns and initiatives at the site. You will also be responsible for imparting comprehensive safety training to Leadec employees on various topics including PPEs, Lock Out & Tag Out, Risk Assessment, Hazard Identification, Emergency Procedures, and more.
