You are a highly motivated and experienced Safety Officer needed to join the team for a construction project in Bangalore on a contract basis. Your main responsibilities will include conducting safety inspections and audits, implementing safety policies, identifying hazards, providing safety training, ensuring compliance with regulations, investigating incidents, and coordinating with project managers and site engineers to enhance workplace safety. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on-site. - Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and guidelines. - Identify potential hazards and take proactive measures to mitigate risks. - Conduct safety training sessions and toolbox talks for workers. - Ensure compliance with all local and national safety regulations. - Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions. - Maintain safety documentation and records. - Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to enhance workplace safety. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in construction safety. - B.tech /BE & Diploma in Industrial & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. - Certification in safety management (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) is preferred. - Strong knowledge of construction site safety regulations and Documentation. - Experience in conducting safety audits and accident investigations. - Excellent communication and leadership skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
